Pre-Kindergarten

            Rote count orally 1-10 and recognize numbers 0-10

            Write numbers 0-10

            Recognize basic shapes (circle, triangle, square, rectangle, oval, star, diamond, heart)

            Draw the following shapes:   circle, square, rectangle, and triangle

            Rote count orally numbers 1-20

            Recognize & write numbers 0-20

 

Kindergarten

          Count orally numbers 1-100

          Recognize numbers 0-50

          Write numbers 0-50    

 

First Grade

         Write numbers 0-100 in 7 minutes

         Front side of addition card in 3 minutes

         Front side of subtraction card in 3 minutes

 

Second Grade

          Entire addition card in 5 minutes

          Entire subtraction card in 5 minutes

 

Third Grade

          Back side of subtraction card in 3 minutes

          Front side of purple multiplication card in 3 minutes

          Back side of purple multiplication card in 3 minutes

 

Fourth Grade

          Entire purple multiplication card in 5 minutes

          Front side of division card in 3 minutes

          Back side of division card in 3 minutes

 

Fifth Grade

          Entire purple multiplication card of facts in 3 ½ minutes

          Entire division card in 4 minutes

          Worksheet on multiples of 10 in 3 minutes with commas

 

Sixth Grade

          Worksheet on reducing fractions in 3 minutes

          Worksheet on recognizing prime and composite numbers in 3 minutes

          Worksheet on metric conversions in 3 minutes

 

  1. The program will begin the week of August 29, 2016. The written, timed test will be given EVERY OTHER week this school year. No make-up tests for student absences.
  2. Student names are displayed in the hall as students master objectives to recognize their success each nine weeks.
  3. Students who master an objective are invited to a Big Event each nine week grading period the next full week after the grading period ends.
  4. These students are recognized at the end of the year with a button if they master the first objective of the grade, a medallion if they master all of the objectives of the grade, and a trophy if they are the highest achiever in the grade.
