Clarksville Elementary School Guidelines

Here are the answers to some day-to-day FAQ's, and the Parent / Student Handbook is attached below if your questions aren't answered here! 

School Store:  The School Store is open each morning from 8:10-8:30 AM.  The School Store is operated by our fifth graders.  They sell pencils, paper, notebooks, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and other school supplies.

Safety Patrol:  Selected fifth grade students serve as our safety patrol monitors in the hallway each morning.  They are on duty from 8:05-8:30 AM.

Breakfast:   School breakfast is served from 8:05 until 8:25 AM.  Students must be finished with breakfast in their homeroom class by 8:30 AM.

Tardies/Early Dismissal:  Students are expected to be at school from 8:30 AM until 3 PM each day.  If a child arrives after 8:30 AM or leaves before 3 PM, then the child must be checked out through the office.

Visitors:  Parents visiting the school are allowed to do so at any time.  However, teaching time should not be used to have a conference with the teacher.  This should be scheduled for another time.  ALL VISITORS must report directly to the office to register on the computer in the office and to receive a visitor nametag that must be worn at all times while on campus.  The badge will also state your name, the date, the time, the reason for your visit, and your destination.  When you are ready to leave the campus, you must stop by the office to log your name off the computer.

Report Cards:  Report cards are sent home at the end of every nine weeks.  Papers are sent home every week for the parents to sign.

Adult Lunch    $2.50

Extra milk   .30 

You may obtain an application for free/reduced meals from the school office.
